One address, and a person on the other end of it.
There is no contact form on this website, no calendar link and no chat widget. Write an email, keep your copy of it, and get a reply from someone who can answer the technical part of the question.
Email us

Five things that make the first reply useful instead of polite
None of these is mandatory. Each one removes a round trip.
- The question you actually want settled. One sentence is enough. If you can write it as something that could turn out to be false, better still.
- What you would do differently if the answer were no. If nothing would change, a probe is probably not worth your money and we will say so.
- Any deadline or decision date. A board meeting, an investment decision or a contract renewal changes which stage is worth running.
- What already exists. A repository, a spreadsheet, a data extract, a half-finished app, or nothing at all. All four are normal starting points.
- Anything you cannot send by ordinary email. Say so and leave it out. Do not attach personal data, credentials or anything under a confidentiality obligation to a first message.
What happens, in order
This is what we commit to. It is not a description of engagements already completed.
-
01 · 2 working days
A written reply
Either a set of questions, or a plain statement that this is not something we should take on, with a reason.
-
02 · 30 minutes
One call, if it fits
A single conversation to test whether the question is well formed. No slide deck, no second call to repeat the first.
-
03 · 3 working days
A written scope
The question in writing, the stage or stages proposed, the fixed price, the start and end dates, and what you receive at the end.
-
04 · Your timing
You decide
The scope is yours to keep whether or not you engage us, and it is written so another supplier could quote against it.
Your email is data, and it is treated as such
When you email us, THE PATHFINDER LABS CORPORATION LIMITED is the controller for the personal data in that message. We handle it under Article 6(1)(f) of the UK GDPR, our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services, and we keep enquiry correspondence for 24 months from the last message unless it becomes part of a contract. The detail, including your rights and how to exercise them, is in the Privacy Policy.
There is no form on this site precisely because a form would post your details somewhere you cannot see. Email leaves the record in your sent folder as well as ours.
If you want to make a data protection request, put “Data protection request” in the subject line and read section 16 of the Privacy Policy first, which explains what we need in order to identify you.
If any part of this website or of a document we send you is difficult to use, tell us what you need and we will send the same content in another format. Say so in the subject line and we will treat it as urgent rather than putting it in the normal queue.
Complaints go to the same address. We acknowledge within two working days and respond in full within 20 working days. If a complaint concerns personal data and you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, whose details are in section 18 of the Privacy Policy.
